NTN Exhibits at “China Wind Power 2013”October 10, 2013

NTN will run a booth at the Beijing international wind power exhibition, “China Wind Power 2013” with the theme “Proposals for next-generation wind turbines: contributing to the Chinese wind power industry.”
The front of the booth will feature a moving cutaway model of a wind turbine (with a 4 m model nacelle), as well as a range of bearings designed for use in wind turbines.
The Condition Monitoring System (CMS) for Wind Power Generators will also be displayed with the model nacelle, with videos outlining its characteristics and structure.

Condition Monitoring System for Wind Power Generators (CMS)

A CMS comprised of the world's smallest class data collection device, measurement sensor, and data control, monitoring and analysis software. The first CMS in Japan to acquire GL certification (certification system developed for wind power generators).

IC Tag Integrated Bearing

The industry's first product that allows information to be recorded and read with an IC tag built into the bearing and a special reader/writer unit. The type of information saved can be configured for each user, allowing bearing quality information, as well as inspection records, to be checked.

Sealed Spherical Roller Bearing

Open spherical roller bearings that achieved the highest level of load capacities in the world have now been fitted with thin, specially-designed contact seals to ensure a more compact bearing width dimension and stable sealing performance.
