NTN-SNR test drove the four-wheel electric commuter “Q'mo” at the opening event of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, an international animation festival held in Annecy City.
Demonstration tests of the compact two-seater EV equipped with the In-Wheel Motor System will also be run around Annecy City over six days during the event. We look forward to seeing you at the event.

In-Wheel Motor System Concept “Q'mo”
“Q'mo” is a two-seater, four-wheel electric commuter powered by the “In-Wheel Motor System Concept” combining the steering system featuring, a compact wheel-turning actuator and In-Wheel Motor System for electric commuters newly developed by NTN. Bear witness to the enjoyment and convenience of compact EVs that afforded by the In-Wheel Motor System, including “Pivot turn” and “Lateral move.”
Two-seater Compact EV Equipped with NTN's In-Wheel Motor
This is a two-seater EV equipped with the “In-wheel Motor System for Compact EVs.” The in-wheel motor system features a motor mounted directly within the wheel, which allows more effective use of free space and greater design flexibility for vehicles. EVs are expected to play a major role in local communities as they are ideal for driving short distances, including shopping and commuting, and are easy to get in and out of, which means that are suited to users of advanced age. NTN has worked with the “Fujinokuni EV, PHV Town Concept” initiative organized by Shizuoka Prefecture and started demonstration tests of this compact EV.
