NTN Begins Providing Bearing Data to “KISSsoft” a Design Analysis Software for Gearboxes May 30, 2025 Press Release

NTN Corporation (hereafter, NTN) has recently begun providing our bearing data to “KISSsoft,” a gearbox design analysis software developed and provided by KISSsoft AG (headquartered in Switzerland), a member of Gleason Corporation (headquartered in U.S.A.), a global manufacturer of machine tools specializing in gears.

“KISSsoft” is a modular calculation program for the design, optimization and verification of machine elements according to international standards. Customized software packages tailored to various applications and fields can be developed and provided to meet the needs of customers, and the software can be linked to major CAD software.

NTN has decided to provide bearing data to “KISSsoft” in order to help more customers improve their design, development efficiency and shorten their development time. We offered the data of approximately 6,000 models of bearing, including deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings, and tapered roller bearings. The data has been released when the software was updated in the spring of 2025.

The recent provision of bearing data helps customers worldwide select NTN bearings in a simple and speedy manner, and contributes to more efficient design, development and shorten development times for customers.

NTN will continue to create an environment that makes it easier for more customers to consider and select NTN bearings, contributing to greater convenience for customers and further expanding sales.
