About NTN approach to health management

In view of the fact that proactive efforts to maintain and promote the health of employees are important management factors that will affect the sustainable growth of the company, NTN promote various measures to realize an employee-friendly workplace environment where each employee can perform at their full potential.

Regarding the maintenance of physical health, we provide appropriate health guidance based on health examinations. Furthermore, we encourage employees who are judged to need to improve their lifestyle to participate in specific health guidance meetings, then it maintains a high participation rate. We are also working to prevent long working hours, by promoting the use of the flextime system and others. Regarding mental care, to improve the working environment, we conduct the mental health training by job title and provide feedback to the managers of each department about the results of stress checks.

In addition, in response to the spread of new coronavirus that has continued since last year, in order to protect the health of employees, we have thoroughly conducted the initiatives such as health care of each employee and actively promoting staggered working hours and telecommuting. Moreover, we have investigated the effects of the pandemic on mental and physical health, and based on the results, we have taken measures such as holding an online stretch seminar for teleworkers. These various efforts have been highly evaluated and NTN was certified this time.

NTN will continue to actively engage in health management through employee health management and promotion of communication between employees for the purpose of mental care.
