Product Overview

An approximately 30 cm square, high-precision applicator capable of coating ultra-small droplets of a few picoliters (pico: trillionth). With a repair ink coating function, the device can coat a small amount of liquid just a few pl (picoliters) in size. A unique coating method using an applicator ensures that the nozzle does not become blocked. It operates on an AC 100 V power supply and can be controlled easily using a mouse for microscopic coating.

Reason for Receiving the Award

NTN developed a compact device capable of applying high-performance coats easily on a desktop for easy methods of handling at compact device manufacturers and R&D institutes, which was rated highly. The award was received as the popularity of the device will lead to further development of materials in fields such as electronic equipment, medical and biotechnology, and for further advancements to R&D.
