History

NTN Group history began when a young man established ironworks in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture and began research and manufacture of ball bearings in 1918.

NTN welcomed its 100th anniversary in 2018 and is going ahead into the next 100 years.

Nishizono Ironworks and Tomoe Trading Co. (Nishi-ku, Osaka) began joint manufacture and sale of bearings under the brand name of NTN.

NTN Mfg. Co., Ltd. established with capital of 50,000 yen.

Established Manchuria Bearing Mfg. Co., Ltd. in China as the first time that a Japanese bearing manufacturer expanded overseas.
